Pachermo is the perfect peak for entry level high altitude mountaineering. What’s great about Pachermo is it includes a 10 day approach trek immersing the team in Sherpa culture. We cross the rarely crossed Renjo La pass (see Gokyo trek) and approach via Thame toward the Tashi Labche. The peak is beautiful and sees a handful of climbers each season. The view into the Rowaling valley are an alpinist dream. Although the peak is technically easier it is high and cold making it very challenging. This is a great peak for your first climb at altitude or to hone your skills.
