Matt Fioretti, the owner of Four Winds Expeditions, did the first ascent of Nireka with Greg Valentine via the West Ridge. We are intimate with this peak. Beautiful line, remote Base Camp, and usually no other teams on the peak make this a true alpine experience. The route is steep at Alpine Ice 2 and very safe and fun. The views North into Tibet are astounding.
